Camp on the Move is offering additonal camps this year through our satellite program.  Our satellite camps are being run by certified teachers in the Austin and San Antonio areas.  The camps will travel in 15 passenger vans to their locations this summer.

Debi Hamilton - River Place / SW Austin / Dripping Springs  Camp Location

Before starting "Camp on the Move", Debi Hamilton owned and operated a state licensed daycare facility for 16 years. She has worked with children throughout her life, from being the classroom mom to volunteering with the church and in schools.

While traveling with one of her daughters on a school trip, Debi met Ronda and together they developed the idea of creating "a field trip based camp".

Debi has four beautiful daughters. Jade, a full time dance teacher at D'Ette and Co. Dancers. Kira, works in the insurance field. Tahlia, an aspiring actress in Los Angeles, California. Hope, is attending School at the University of North Texas.

Debi loves being around the children and is ready to "get movin" this summer with Camp on the Move!

 

Satellite SAN ANTONIO Camp Director

Wendy Pleak - Only Location in San Antonio

Wendy, an Austin native, graduated from Southwest Texas State University (Cum Laude) with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. She has been teaching kindergarten, in San Antonio, at Longs Creek Elementary for 8 years. Wendy also helps sponsor the Cowbelles cheer/dance club at the school that is opened to girls in 2nd- 5th grade. The club helps promote teamwork, physical fitness, and friendships. The girls perform at several events throughout the year.

After being a part of summer school over the summers, Wendy is now excited to bring Camp On The Move to San Antonio!

Wendy is married to Luke Pleak and has one spoiled Yorkie named Lola. No kids yet, but they plan to start a family in the near future.
