Ronda Dahlke Gray (Administrative Director)
After receiving her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Texas, Ronda Dahlke Gray began her career in teaching at Boone Elementary. She taught first grade and helped pilot a program that kept students with the same teacher during their primary years. Then, she decided to try her hand at teaching middle school and loved it. She taught at Bailey Middle School for six years teaching 6th grade language arts and coaching pepsquad and 8th grade cheerleading.
It was while she was at Bailey sponsoring the Bailey Travel Club that she and Debi Hamilton created the concept "Camp on the Move". Ronda knew as a single mom that she needed another source of income and the thought of missing out on summers with her kids, Erich and Ellary motivated her to start the camp right away!
Ronda has since married Kelly Gray and they have 5 children. Ronda's children are Erich Dahlke, attending St. Edward's MBA Program, and Ellary, attending St.Andrew's Upper School. Ronda's stepchildren are Jason Gray who works in Engineering, Adam Gray who attends St.Edwards College, and Ali Gray who attends Westlake High School.
Ronda no longer teaches but puts all her time and energy into Camp on the Move...the ultimate summer camp for kids.
Debi Hamilton (Austin On-Site Director)
Before starting "Camp on the Move", Debi Hamilton owned and operated a state licensed daycare facility for 16 years. She has worked with children throughout her life, from being the classroom mom to volunteering with the church and in schools.
While traveling with one of her daughters on a school trip, Debi met Ronda and together they developed the idea of creating "a field trip based camp".
Debi has four beautiful daughters. Jade, a full time dance teacher at D'Ette and Co. Dancers. Kira, works in the insurance field. Tahlia, an aspiring actress in Los Angeles, California. Hope, is attending School at the University of North Texas.
Debi loves being around the children and is ready to "get movin" this summer with Camp on the Move!
Jennie Temple (Marketing Director)
Jennie graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. She started her career in sales and moved her way up into marketing over the years. She loves her work and is very excited to be apart of such a fantastic summer camp.
Jennie is married to Andrew Temple and has 2 dogs, Murphy and Paxton. No kids yet, but they are in the plans for the future.
Jennie is looking forward to “Moving” this summer with Camp on the Move!
